Closely involved with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Wayne serves as President for his local chapter and actively participates in the State, Area and National levels. Wayne focuses on HR & technology as well as developing the competencies for the HR certification program.

Wayne Tarken, SPHR is the Principal of the HR Technology Group, a management and human resources firm located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania regional area.

He brings more than twenty years of experience in management and human resources to customers ranging from recent college graduates to CEOs. Recent clients include Coca Cola, AstraZeneca and Temple University. 

Wayne serves on the faculty of the Fox School of Business, teaching both undergraduate and graduate human resources courses.  In addition, he is active in numerous community and professional organizations.
